What are y'alls opinion on buying a deuce from GL ? Do they have reliable products or would i be better off buying from a private owner ? Does the year matter much? ( is there a year that is better or are they all pretty similar ), Thank y'all so much.

Thank you guys very much, i really appreciate y'alls input. So how do you all store them ? I live in a neighboorhood who would throw a fit if i had one in my driveway (so would the others living in the house), do you all just live on ranches or do some of you all rent little spaces to keep them...

Are they expensive to upkeep ?

Is it hard to learn to drive a deuce ? I am really interested in buying one but am not sure whether i will be able to drive it or if i will have the skills to repair it, do they require a lot of complicated work that someone with limited knowledge would not be able to do on his own ?

Well i'll drive it every day but i would like it to be easy, and cheap. If i put a 350 would i still get enough power for off road? and would there be any thing i would need to change on the truck, i really would prefer a nice diesel turbo though. and do know of any places i could find an engine?

Is it possible to get a 6bt?or is that pushing it and how much do they cost? and if i got one what would i need to do to outfit the truck for it?

Ok eventually i am going to get around to getting a M715, Are they reliable? and what kind of engine swap do ya'll suggest, i would like a cummins.

Well i'm pretty sure a Duece is out of the ? cause i don't exactly live in a place where i can just go park it in my lawn. Is an M715 too big? I have other cars for back up, not mine but they are there for me to use, and i do live half a mile from my school so...

Ok so i probably wont get a duece but are there any other good military trucks or anything i could use just to drive to school and what not. I won't really being doing too much but i want to be able to have a good off road car without spending 10k on just my suspension. It also has to be safe...

What is like driving one of them? Could they be a safe street legal? Could they be a good first car?
