Waved goodbye to my 5 ton today :cry: Driveway looks too empty now. But the truck went to a good home.. It was purchased by a very nice couple from Iowa.
I will say that changing to NAPA trans fluid really helped relax the 2-1 downshift on mine. I was going to change the fluid on mine regardless, so I figured why not. I'm glad I did it.
It's been a long time since I did mine.. But I seem to remember you are supposed to check it with the engine idling, and only once it reaches operating temp (I don't recall there being a specific temp listed.) Hopefully someone else chimes in though. It might be different regardless, since mine...
Indeed. If I do decide to get another one of these at some point, I will wait until I have some kind of rural property. It would just be easier that way.

Cool :) If I get another 5 ton, I think I will have an M931A2 set up like your M932.. Shortened bed with a hydraulic dump setup. Talk about perfect for yard work and other stuff around the house ;)
