I drive mine at 65 mph alot. 70 some but not at long periods of time. I dont go over 70. Its my daily driver, it is all stock just as in the pic. So far knock on wood I have had great luck with it.
Im no Expert!! Remember that when I tell you this. The manual says when it goes to a fourth tank or below its the gauge or power to the gauge. You may have knocked something loose to the gauge, that would be the first thing I would check. I just fixed mine last month, it was staying at a fourth...
This week my drivers side headlight on my M1009 was just hanging. So I took it apart and had to replace the plastic nut that holds the top adjuster and replaced the lamp. The lamp was in 2 pieces but still working!!
I ask about this on another thread and without going back to it I dont remember...
Oh, I know what I did with my knife was I held the little plates that came with the hitch that went in the frame to make the hole square for the carraige bolts then held the bolt heads with my knife to start the nuts. I remember you had to line all the stars planets and stand on your head and...

I dont have nieghbors but I love the looks I get when I drive it. Its my daily driver. My friends are getting used to it. At first when I would pull up in it they thought the Guard was checking on them, They just had a tornado hit there home when I just got it.
This past few weeks on my M1009 I have changed the old fuel filter to the spin on kind and that solved my hard to start issues. I also changed the fuel gauge and the sending unit in the tank and the gauge works now!!!!:jumpin: I also put seat covers on the front seats that made them more comfy...

I would have to look it up again. I will try to do that tonight. It was out of Ca.. I remember that. I think it was the first site warthog put up. I just typed in diesel fuel gauge for 1986 Blazer on ebay and found one. I didnt bid I called them because when you scroll down on their auction they...
