M35A2 Turbo Failure Or Something Else?

Unless something managed to break off or otherwise damage the turbine blades on the exhaust side. I don't what else it could have been. The symptoms seem to indicate that the turbo is not really doing anything anymore. For that to be the case I would expect something is damaged on the exhaust...

M35A2 Turbo Failure Or Something Else?

Is it possible the turbine shaft broke in between the compressor and exhaust side?

Now I’m scared. Fake N3135 regulators???

I bought these IFM Efector sensors at a great price back during the plandemic when everything was impossible to get. Needed them at work and could not find them in the factory or anywhere. China had them listed on Ebay. Well the ones I got were fakes. Looked nice and had good labels. They even...

New M1009 in Spain (my hulk)

I have driven as far south as Madrid and spent a few days in Barcelona. I love the country it is a special place. I would consider living there perhaps in the future. The lifestyle seems to be very different but more relaxed. I appreciate the culture and the way that a feeling of national pride...

New M1009 in Spain (my hulk)

Looks like you are doing great work! Where in Spain are you located? In my travels there I have not seen any old USA military vehicles, but did spot some of of your indigenous equipment in convoy while driving between Bilbao and Logrono...

    Twin Turbo V12 M998

To be honest it looks almost as hard to work on in the Hummer than it must have been in the original car. Very cool idea and looks well done. Good luck it sounds to me like you thought this thru. Loved the simplistic explanations too gave me a good laugh that was sorely needed. I wrench on a...

    Truck violently bouncing

I say it because have a similar problem with my deuce truck sits for a month and then shakes pretty good for the first 5 minutes or so once I hit 45 mph. After some driving it calms down until the next time out. Hot weather reduces this. Tires are not new but in good shape.

Tires would be my guess too.

    Coolant Overflow

On my truck the tube joint to the radiator was cracked. We rebrazed it along with other areas that had come apart. Seems pretty common prblem on these deuce radiators. It is maybe 1/4 OD and just fits in the neck there and it brazed in. The tube runs down the side of the radiator to let the...

    M817 front leaf spring replacement

I went thru this on my deuce a few years back. Decided to make new pins (6x) 0.010" oversize and ream out the bushings to clean up the wear. Worked out for me but had access to a machine shop. Needed new pins anyway they were worn. I could not find the bushings for the leaf springs either at...
