I bought a set of 38" Ground Hawg tires a few years back. Each tire had about a hand full of steel BB's (BB gun ammo)inside, and let me tell you, it was such a mess when I had to take the tires off the rims. There was handfulls of super fine powdered rust inside each of them, along with the...
I figure I'll use it one way or another, as diff oil, burn it what ever. It's in the shop, so time will tell. I did find out how much it cost to buy....OUTCH!!!
Mine is just Mineral oil based ($49.00 a gallon), and the synthetic stuff is twice as much $$$...
Well, I ended up picking up the 55gal. drum of gear oil after all. It is in fact mineral based oil. It's un-opened with the seal caps still on it. I did have one minor hiccup with the endeavor though. When we got it back to my place, unloading it, we slipped on the ice/snow and down it went off...

My M105 trailer has the landing gear with the large diameter wheel. I see others have the same trailer, but have instead of the large fixed wheel, there is a two wheel telescoping jack in it's place attached to the drop down gear. How much does this type landing gear setup extend/raise?
What is the proper route for the tach cable to be placed on an M35a2? I have three trucks, and of course, all three cables/trucks are routed differently. At the front of the engine where the cable connects to the 90 deg. drive, the first truck (#1) has the cable going just straight up then...
