    My New/Old Radio PRC-351

Oh yes, these run on 24volts. Another nice HF radio from the same family is the PRC-320 manpack.

    My New/Old Radio PRC-351

Hi, About a month ago I bought off ebay a british Clansman PRC-351 VHF manpack radio. It's their 70's version of a PRC-77 but is more modular is design. Prices are great since I picked the whole kit for a bit under $100 and PRC-77 are hard to find and are expensive. Since I got my Ham License...

    refinishing a PRC-77

Nice clean looking PRC-77. I just last month I bought on ebay a brit PRC-351 which is a PRC-77 equivalant. Came with a pack frame, whip antenna, 1 amp battery and a headset. No contacts made yet but also just got my ham license. Some of these radios could us a repaint since they were made in...

    New Guy Radio question

I'm looking at getting a PRC-25 or 77 one day to use for general contacts on the mil freq but and not touching anything other than CB until I get my tech license. That's not to say you can't listen to Hams talk. Illeagal transmissions on radios are not worth the trouble. Just my 2 cents...

    M1007 Suburban CUCV Conversion

Really nice Suburan. I didn't know they came with diesel. I'm wanting a M1008 pickup but the M1009 Blazers are easier to find. I might go that route one day. Jim

    My m1008

Nice truck, I'm thinking about gettng something like that since I need a truck and perfer a diesel truck but all the Dodge Ram 2500 cummins are a bit pricey. A CUCV should run ok but I'd heard no great reviews back when I was in. I guess like everything else, it's maintenance and care. Plus it's...

    New Guy from Northern VA

Hello, I found this site while looking at Youtube videos on M35A2 trucks. I've been thinking about starting a hobby of maybe getting a surplus M1009 CUCV or maybe buying a PRC-77 to keep up with some equipment I've used when I was in the Army. This site has some great info and I guess for some...
