I was ready to order one for the convenience, direct fit. Plug and play. It comes with the adapter plate also.

I really want to go. Every year there is always "something" that stops me. Plus, nobody ever wants to go with me. I hate to embark on a 300 mile trip in a surplus military vehicle by myself.
Finally had time to get on computer so I could look at TMs.
TM 9-2320-272-10 and TM 9-2320-272-23-1 page 0003-10.
Way I read it the top one prevents t-case from being shifted while in gear and one I put red dot on is the front wheel drive.
I got part numbers from the TM. This link looks like the one I marked. Says it's to engage front end.:confused:

I'm pretty sure the cylinder I marked with the red dot is the one that engages front axle. Correct?
Is this what I should try knocking on or is there some other valve you were talking about?
