    Nevada Title and Registration

The procedure for getting a Title and Registration changed about a year and a half ago. Unfortunately no one at the DMV knew what it was before and they still don't. Step 1. You need to go to a "full service" DMV office. That means Reno or Vegas. Step 2. Go to the actual DMV Vehicle Inspection...

What have you done WITH your FMTV ( trips, Rescues etc) NOT: fixes, updates etc

They are actually fine, I guess they got pushed down into the dirt and spread the weight around.

Yeah, I was only mildly annoyed when I saw those were missing...but damn...a must-have.

Fun Weekend! First...the back story...40ac in northern NV, including a piece of the West Walker river... [note: Nevada rivers are considered non-navigable, so if you own a piece of both sides, you essentially own that piece of river...] anyway...couple years ago, to facilitate river access, I...

1078 A0 engine starts, runs for anywhere between 8-30 seconds... [newbie ? buried in a long post]

Replaced the line from tank to first filter, [had one made at a local tractor place] didn't fix it, then replaced fuel filter [same separator bowl but new o-rings], and it seemed better, but still didn't hold a prime, so used a kit and replaced the 2-foot line from primer to lift pump. Now it...

Nope. got about a 1/2 mile per gallon. I considered one of those cans they use for outboards, with the little primer, I think they have a return. But I had to stop thinking and start doing. Now I can start on the actual fix (es) At least I got to drive it, with no door latches, a mirror...

So you can buy fittings, but not build lines. That's probably better, as @GeneralDisorder said, just take existing lines, add a couple inches, and have them made. I've been told that's what people do for hydraulic lines, just take it to a tractor place and they make one for you.

1078 A0 engine starts, runs for anywhere between 8-30 seconds... [newbie ? buried in a long post]

Bought some fuel line, fittings, and cobbled something together. The fuel line magically fit pretty snug inside the line on a jaz can. Problem with using a jaz can was it has a air cap, and I had to lay it on it's side with only a gallon or so in it. I'll get a picture tomorrow. Ran it out of...

It has two new batteries, and while it was briefly running the alternator seems to be working as the voltage jumps up.

Took the filter off, took off the flapper valve, cleaned it up and put it back together, then had zero priming. Took it back apart, loosened the screw and adjusted the position of the valve and that got it priming again. On mine the bulb is oversprayed a bit with yellow, and it doesn't seem...

This still sucks...air, that is. Didn't find any loose connections, and the primer seems to work. Tried putting my finger over the hole and while the black bulb doesn't stay depressed, you can hear the plunger release when you let go. Tried cheating by pouring a little fuel in the primer port...

1078 A0 engine starts, runs for anywhere between 8-30 seconds... [newbie ? buried in a long post]

Oddly enough, I've seen the last video, but I've been lurking for a while and now that I actually have a truck I can't find any of the helpful stuff I found but didn't need before. At first, the primer didn't seem to be working as it didn't get harder to push. As I loosened and re=tightened...

Nope, didn't know about that priming port. I was just loosening a 3/4 in coupling and trying to bleed off the air.
