Does anyone run BFG KM2's on their CUCV stock? I'm thinking about getting them and wanted to see what they look like on these trucks. I also wanted to know how many miles they go until they are ready to be replaced. Any help is appreciated!
This is how it works: There is a challenge to take a picture of your CUCV/ you and your CUCV doing something (fun). First person to post pics gets to create the next challenge.
First Challenge: Take a picture of your CUCV flexing, using a forklift to lift up the tire.

I know these trucks can tow a lot but the previous owner put an M1008 bumper on it and I question the strength when towing with the pintle hitch. What do you guys think how much would you tow with it?
I know the CUCV's are supposed to make a sound while the wait light is on and turn off when the light does. What is it that is buzzing and why isn't mine doing it? Also if anybody knows the part number or where I can get the part that would be great thanks.

Hey guys, the steering on my M1009 is fairly loose and its all over the road at highway speed and I just got a new steering box. Was the steering on these trucks ever that tight or was it always loose like that? Also I've heard that a Jeep XJ steering box will fit and is tighter is this true and...

Is anyone else in south east Florida? Post your town/county and a picture of your vehicle. Also if anyone knows of any MV clubs in the area that would be great too.
I'm in Palm Beach
I want to tow a Jeep Wrangler TJ (see below) with my M1009. I do have a hitch strong enough but I'm not to sure the M1009 it self is capable of hauling such a large load. I don't want to exceed the maximum towing capacity. Any info would be helpful, thanks.
I received a 1984 M1009 CUCV today and noticed that when I turn on the lights the passenger side front blinker comes on automatically. It does not go off unless I turn on the drivers side blinkers or turn the lights off. Does anyone else have these issues? What could could cause this to happen...
Does anyone know what markings are supposed to be on the M1009 CUCV (TP??, DIESEL, USE CAUTION etc.) or what you guys have on yours? Also if anyone can tell me what size the lettering should be, and where to get the stencils that would be great.[thumbzup]
