    I have heard of the pin box breaking before and know of 2 that broke the welds around the inner frame bracing. the kodiak guy had a catastrophic failure but when inspecting the steel you could see where some welds had broke eariler(minor rust around steel) we had to weld some steel...

    Did you leave the axles 4.56? or change out the gears? did you have to move the rear spring perches on the 14 bolt?

    do you think its possible that the valve dropped due to the newer eng oils that are out? due to the new emissions/ lack of zinc in the oil? my old shovel head dropped a valve after a 800 mile trip. I was in bfe and needed oil...the only thing the gas station had at the time was aviation...
