We got one of the many trucks tractors from Camp Shelby. We put a small load behind it and the trans. temp gauge went to plus 300. (2000 gal of water in a tank on a flat bed) As with many of the earlier posts, we went and drained the trans, and converted to Dex III. Any ideals way this...
I Have tug that came Scott Field from the Late 60s early 70s. I want to post some pics but can not get them to down load. We traded the Air Force some fertilizer spreaders to spread salt and we got this tug. We used it and abused it, and this is whats left, if I could get some pics to take.
After extinsive surches. I have figured out that 6.5 n/a will work, i think that the trans and tanfer or specfice to that eng. If i use the kiss aproch I shuuld go back with the 6.2, but non or listed in the classified. I have lost some referances when I got a new CPU, any opinions.

Very first thread. I would like to say every truck should have a fire extinguisher on it. I was trying to tighten up a fuel leak going into the injector pump. Looked up and saw a whisper of smoke. The nozzle going into intake man. for cold weather starting was leaking fuel on to the exhaust side...
