Seems like sufficient capicity in the joints for a trailer with a capacity of @half the rating of each joint. QF - How long did you go on the originals before it broke, and how long have you been using the heim joint?

Picked up a load handler today, $35 at harbor freight. going to try and fit that on the trailer and see if its a good compromise. Also made a trip to Tractor supply to look at hydraulics and heim joints. They had lift arm ends, but no heim joints.

I know you said you have been hammering, but have you tried hammering in a tapered pin to see if it pulls it into line? Does the 3/8 pin fit, and you are trying to get the larger pin in?
Build the dummy browning from the Shotgun News gunsmithing book. Its cheap, looks good from a distance but is obvious enough up close to keep you out of the clink.
I wish...his horn was probably $400 or more (unless you have a good connection) mine are just $40. I will say though, its guys like him who inspired me to get the ones I have, but I cant justify the extra $360 for the big horn. Plus, I have a hard enough time not going for every surprise...
