    [thumbzup]Sorry Mate, I will go and take some pics down at the museum and post them up. But Gerhard lugged a few metres of genuine US canvas so as I could re-cover and upholster the cab seats ! He also got me a bottom rail and fittimgs so that i could re-build the drivers side window !

    I have just been offered a troop strap , un used and in it's original box but has Dodge replacement part printed on box...would it be the same spec strap as the Reo ? on quick inspection it looks the same as the ones in pics on various gl sites etc anyway this is the original fibre type not...

    People thought I was crazy driving mine home (205 miles) You have a lot to consider especialy Tyres, your first contact with the road ! I bet the batteries are just about fuba'd and the fuel maybe past it's best ? Oh the joys of the Big Green Machine ! Good luck Mate :grin:

    No Defence needed Buddy, just had my quote for recovering with military grade canvas... just picked myself up off the floor £200 plus tax oh and I have to wait 6 weeks because they are so busy !!:roll: you may think it a stupid question but what does ODG stand for ?:-?

    Thanks for the encouragement on this use of rollers, while I still have the old canvas I am going to stick with the single green with white decals, however in the future I would like to go onto the three colour camo look and will have to beg some spray booth time in the Hangar !

    Completely agree with you ! I did a show last saturday had a whole family climb in the cab !! didn't ask just climbed in !:twisted: didn't like my impolite request to get out and go forth and multiply !! Sunday I had to ask three different people to not cross the safety barrier and climb on...

    Have you tried American canvas on milweb ? also Dave at Eastern Surplus has them in stock but postage can be expensive ?
