    Is this m35a3 worth $2200

Seems like a bargain to me, but make sure you can get some kind of a title, even a branded/salvage title, if you plan to drive it. Otherwise, it is a parts truck or off road only.

    Identify this truck---M35 Variant?

Thanks to all for the responses. The truck last ran in 2008. It towed a trailer into a remote area and was parked. I suspect that with batteries, it will start. I will take a look at it when I get the opportunity. When I have more information, I will post.

    Identify this truck---M35 Variant?

I doubt that it is a Cummins also, but probably worth confirming. Somebody might have done a swap.

    Identify this truck---M35 Variant?

This truck is located in rural WV, near me. It belongs to one of my clients. I obtained this truck for him as a part of a long and complicated settlement. I know it has a title, which identifies it as a Kaiser truck. My guess is that it is an M35 with the bed removed, but I am told that it...

M35 from central TN to Huntington, WV

Thanks for the response. I am told that it is in A+ condition, but I have never seen it. I would love to get somebody close by there to check it out. Although I am generally handy, I do not feel confident in a 350 mile drive in an unknown truck, and am not as knowledgeable as I should be with...

M35 from central TN to Huntington, WV

Anybody have any interest in transporting a deuce from central TN, (midway between Nashville and Knoxville) to Huntington, WV? I live adjacent to I-64. I am sure I could make arrangements for a loading dock if necessary. Total trip will be about 350 miles. I am considering a purchase and...

Schott Enterprises -Or where to Find/Buy a HMMWV?

I don't think the Clark website is updated often. On the website, it shows a bunch of trucks, including 998s, which were AWOL from the lot.

    Insurance problem!!!!!!!!!!!

I use usaa for all of my insurance. When I discussed a mv with them, they tried to pawn me off on their bs collector car, highly restricted, garage required "partner" company. I'm not sure how you pulled it off, but I would like a page from that playbook which got you through usaa's door. In the...

    Insurance problem!!!!!!!!!!!

I deal with insurance claims from wrecks every day. With that in mind, my advice is to be 100% truthful in the application process to eliminate problems later. However, although I do not advocate this, if a deuce is bobbed after the policy is already in force, I seriously doubt whether most...

    Deuce/5 ton ROPS Kit?

For what it is worth, I owned a Komatsu dozer (10,000 ish lbs). It was built in Japan and had no ROPS available when imported to the US. A guy in MO fabbed a "canopy" that would certainly help in a rollover. Much like what has been described here, it was 6" square steel, 4 posts, and heavy...

    Deuce/5 ton ROPS Kit?

Take this for what it is worth, it isn’t legal advice: 13 MIKE, You make some interesting points. I appreciated reading your post because it was objective. It would seem to me that the real issue is whether somebody engineered a fully developed product for sale, for profit, and described it...

    Deuce/5 ton ROPS Kit?

OP, I think a ROPS is a good idea. There are plenty of smart and capable people here who could develop such an item. I can't think of any better thing to do, following a such tragedy, than to use it to prevent future tragedies. I guess it is kind of a "lemons to lemonade" approach. I think...

    R.I.P--SHOOTINIRON--James Ruman

Sending my condolences for James and his family... Although I never met this man, the support he is receiving here speaks volumes about his character. He has clearly impacted many people in a positive way. His family should be proud to know that so many people held him in such high regard. I...

    Deuce/5 ton ROPS Kit?

What kind of uninformed comment is this supposed to be? The insurance companies certainly already have lawyers and accident reconstructionists working on a theory of liability that supports their position. I suppose that is ok with you. As a personal injury lawyer, my review of the...
