Thanks maybe best option. If I do this I will make a cad file for others. Do you have dimensions? I believe it should be 3in larger diameter than hole.
I am considering bidding on a Gov Planet Hmmwv. Does anyone have a recommendation for someone to pick up the vehicle and or who to use for shipping from Georgia to CT?
The mount looks good. The air suspension is very interesting. I'm still going back and forth on using My M105 Springs and losing my trailer or getting some M35 front springs, the old which will I like more dilemma.
Think I copied this from Hank's Deuce Build, (which is amazing).

I'm also thinking about bobbing using the M105, and possibly a power steering upgrade to the arm-strong steering.
Hope to bring my dad one year. He is 90 now so I can't put it off much longer. June 6th is his birthday and he was the guy holding the man line for LCI 478 on Omaha beach for his 18th birthday.
dstang97 you could be right, but I'm just trying to follow the rules. I just got a call through to wethersfield, and the gentlmen was very nice and professional. He told me that all I need to do is have all of the lights working, (that sort of stuff), and make sure that the bumper is at or...

So the story continues. I went to a second emissions station and they did a Vin check. Then I went to Danbury DMV, and they told me that they won’t give me a second temporary as all military vehicles need a full safety inspection and can only be flat bedded to Wethersfield. Second, they don’t...
Wethersfield pulled me out of line and said put on a bumper then come back. They never asked for any info and told me they would not even look until I put on a bumper.
Acesneights1 I have two deuces, one with SF97, and one that was registered in NJ. I was told that each needs a vin check and that emission stations no longer can do a vin check on a military vehicle. I will try some other emission stations, but am also going to add a lower trailer hitch that...
I am registering as historic or antique. I have gone to an emissions station and was told that the law in CT changed in July of 2013. Military vehicles now have to go to either Wethersfield or Hamden DMV for a VIN check. The CT DMV site also states the same. I agree that these locations will...
