Need a bit of help, as stupid as this sounds....where do I find the VIN # on an M931A2? I tried applying for my SF97 and ended up giving them a DTID #, I have no idea where to find a VIN # on this truck. Gave a quick look at frame and door jam, nothing.
Thanks,
Mike
Ok, now I won the tow bars, sorry about confusion. Too much Espresso, didn't even know the date. But anyways I won 1 set of tow bars at Mechanicsburg and was wondering if anyone was close enough to pick them up after my paid in full paper comes in. I am on vacation 3rd week of February and can...
OK, so here is my problem. I check this space every 2 weeks for mice, I forgot to do it 2 weeks ago and today I had a this area filled with a nest and mice. Cleaned it all out and started it. It shut down after 5 minutes and I smelled smoke from wire burning. If you see the 2 or 3 red connectors...
Does anyone know of any links that show how to change out the door glass in a Deuce? I have a brand new door but it is just the shell so I need to switch the door guts from old door to the new door.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks,
Mike
Wondering if there is anyone that could pick up a box of sleeping bags for me at Mechanicsburg and ship them to MA. I usually get things around here so I do my load outs myself. But I am not sure how to go about getting a box Fed Ex'ed or UPS'ed if I am not there in person. I have a Fed Ex...

What is the best way to prepare a deuce for winter till summer storage? I wont be able to drive my trucks for 8 to 10 months after the first week of November and I was wondering how I should prep them for the storage. It will be bad enough to look at them through my windows knowing I cant drive...

Ok,

All I got is that it is a 4 cyl gas wisconsine engine with a gorman rupp pump unit.

Ok, I got a question. I talked to 3 steel suppliers today who told me nobody makes the size channel steel or close to it for the windshied glass frames. It looks easy enought to fab new ones but from I am told the steel channel stock cannot be bought. Is this true or just some lazy lackies on...
Ok, I did the search here and unless I did it wrong I can not find a definitive number for an air filter. The truck is a 1969 M51 w/ continental multi fuel. The fuel and air filters are clogged up real bad. I need to replace them but I am having a hard time finding numbers. Most of the threads...
Today was the start of converting M51 into a 5 ton cargo.
Going to put a deuce bed on it, not sure if I am going to keep it full size or cut and do a re weld while keeping tool box and spare carrier. There was a pic of one like that on the forum a few weeks a go and it looked sweet. 2 hours, and...
