    Hillbilly Wizard

He was great, I had to get a fuse block without wiring harness. We looked everywhere and couldn't find them, called hillbilly wizard up and they shipped it same day took like 10 mins. They are awesome.

    Fusebox Source

Ok, that explains it then I guess it was never a separate part. Thank you for the answer, I knew someone here would be able to help. Let me figure out if I will be able to change all the connections into the new box without too much trouble.

    Fusebox Source

Good Morning SS, I am in need of a new Fusebox, I have checked every part supplier I know including Hillbillywizard.com and cannot find anyone selling the Fusebox for a CUCV without the full wiring harness. Does anyone know of a place to get one?

Need a mechanic in Los Angeles to fix gen 2 and battery drain problem.

KBS Diesel in Santa Ana also has worked on my truck so he knows the 24/12v system pretty well. Ben is the owners name.

Got her started with the turbo today!

Nice job on the turbo! When you get around to the 2nd fuel tank and exhaust share some pictures and info. I have been researching an aux tank but so far haven't found anything that will work.

    Windshield Wiper Power Loss

Sorry, it is a AM/FM radio. Ok I'll have to look into wiring it directly with a relay from the wiper fuse. I just found it strange it turns off when the wipers are on (regardless of which fuse it is connected through).

    Windshield Wiper Power Loss

I have a very odd problem I haven't been able to isolate, so I figured I would ask here. I have a radio running to the fuse box at the fuse labeled "LPS" just to the left of fuse #6 from this post. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?132309-CUCV-Fuse-Box-Layout I have also tested it...

    New M1009 Owner

It will be my daily driver, but I work ~2 miles from here so worse case I hoof it. I have daily driven an old 78 ford bronco for years now, so I'm no stranger to having to work out the kinks at first.

    New M1009 Owner

Bought it from another private owner, it worked enough to get to the DMV and register it but then wouldn't start. Just got it running again, had to rebuild the starter, replace a battery and then replace the solenoid on the driver side firewall. Right now it seems to be running great, there...

Recommendations for a fairly long drive

Well just an update for everyone. I went and test drove the truck, it drove great and was in nice condition but after everything we decided to ship it (my wife felt a lot better about that too). So I should get it in a week or two once we coordinate things. Thank you to everyone for the advice...

Recommendations for a fairly long drive

Wow, thank you everyone for the responses. I am still going through them all and putting together my list for assembly tonight. Since someone asked, it will be from Albuquerque to Los Angeles, so weather shouldn't be an issue if the forecasts are right. I think the two big failures that worry...

Recommendations for a fairly long drive

Thank you very much Assel! As someone asked earlier if I had a backup, I was thinking of renting a uhaul and tow dolly. If I did that, as long as I put the truck in Neutral and the np-208 in neutral I should be safe right?
