OK hopefully this will help someone in the future.
1) if u are going to run a MM winch use an OEM PS pump at IDLE. Napa pumps will work for non hydraulic winch trucks.
2) If you are replacing a pump Please be careful and ensure you never run out of fluid. 4-5 seconds of being dry can destroy...
Word of advice once u get the winch installed NEVER EVER rev the motor while winching. all winching is to be at idle. u ask why i know this, well just ask the 3 pumps I burnt up in the shop. oh and good luck bleeding the PS system its a MO FO
Someone posted the newer pumps go as high as 1700 psi but I can't confirm. PSC sells a higher flow pump if interested. That's what I run for my hydraulic winch
