I purchased a M989 from Herlong CA, Sierra Army Depot. Need to get trailer hauled (must be carried) to Reno. They will load and gravity can unload. Any ideas.

    Serial/vin Number

Does anyone know if there is another place besides the description plate that you can get the serial number. My plate is missing. The serial number has been scratched into the paint on the dash.

Bought an M49 in Sisseton, SD need it moved to near Sharon, ND

Not sure where to post this. Already posted in Need Transportation. I bought a M49 that has been used as a water tanker. Doesn't run. Need to get it moved to just outside Sharon, ND from the BIA Roads yard in Sisseton, SD. No rush. It's about a 150 miles. Can either go I 29 or back roads. I...

I bought a M49 that has been used as a water tanker. Doesn't run. Need to get it moved to just outside Sharon, ND from the BIA Roads yard in Sisseton, SD. No rush. It's about a 150 miles. Can either go I 29 or back roads. I don't think my Expedition will pull it, but I may have to resort...

    M49A2C

Mine is not complete and is a 1978. They removed the pto pump and the entire housing from the back. Added on a red rack to hold a water pump and hose. Soft is MIA at this point. It looks like they cut off the round holders on the driver's side that held the hard hoses for sucking out of a...

    M49A2C

Thanks. Truck was used as a water truck, not a fuel truck. The pump and house on the back of the truck was removed. I'll attach a couple of pictures.

    M49A2C

Just bought one. Haven't seen it yet. Was wondering if the tank is bolted to the bed of the truck or if it's bolted to the frame and I'll need to get a new bed when I take the tank off. Thanks

    Shipping RV

I need to have a 96 Country Coach Intrigue, 40' Diesel pusher hauled from Bellevue, NE to near Sharon, ND. RV does not run, was in a flood. Specs say 29,000lbs. I did manage to get the air bags inflated so it's not sitting on the ground anymore. No rush, can be anytime in the next year. Is...

    WMO pump to drive centrifuge

This might be a really stupid idea but what about using an old washing machine. Line the basket with heavy duty cloth (I have a roll of the material that surgical masks are made from), put it on spin and collect the outlet hose into a tank of some sort. You could install magnets to the inside...

An RV is not necessarily a camper. A 6x6 used to go trail riding ( or making) should qualify as an RV.

M49 Sisseton, SD to Finley, ND

Fire department modified M49 used as water tanker. Bought it a few days ago sight unseen. They say it needs to be towed or hauled out of there. Suppose to be hauled off within 10 business days but they said with the weather they would hold it a little longer.
