Why do the Hydraulic Head clips fall off.

Something has caused the plunger to stick the first time before the button fell off. I posted a pic of the plunger and a dark coating from ether bad fuel or water and the fuel control collar was sticking pretty good on it. What ever the cause it seems to happen more and more often. I have trucks...

Why do the Hydraulic Head clips fall off.

Why do the Hydraulic Head clips fall off.

Just to be correct the thread above post 32 line #2. When the control collar is up it holds the spill port closed longer and we get high RPM. When the control collar is down the spill port is open longer and all the fuel spills out and we get a no fuel or shut down.

Why do the Hydraulic Head clips fall off.

I don't think people have been changing out there springs and tappets. If you did replace your head and took out a 90100A then put back in a 90100A then it should be correct. Here is the pic of the plunger and the discoloration. My collar even has problems sliding where it is. Think the crap...

Why do the Hydraulic Head clips fall off.

I don't know Rusty but I do have a plunger that has a coating on it. I will grab it today and take a pic. I believe this coating makes the plunger stick and then causes a gap between the tappet and plunger. Then when it unsticks the two slam together maybe causing a hammering affect that knocks...
