I saw Dave late last year at Gilbert, and then he emailed me some updates. Him and his brother have bounced between jobs and projects several times in the last several years. He assured me that the M819 project, the pipeline deuce project, and other things that they had previously worked on...

It has been over 14 months since the Diesel brothers have updated this thread with information/pics of their adventures on the M819. I feel they might have either slacked off, or lost interest altogether. :(

No, those look stupid. Put a hood scoop on it, nothing too rounded, something boxy that looks like it belongs there. The "box" reminds me of the hillbilly mods that some did that was a bread pan tack-welded in place....

Sounds great, Dave! Can't wait to see some pics of the truck, almost seems like you guys have had to get engineering degrees in order to make this conversion! Once it's done, this will have to be an attendee to Aberdeen, in the DISPLAY AREA! It's going to be one-of-a-kind!
