So by what your saying is it optional to leave or take out the imput shaft once I have removed the front part of the pto??
I'm really not bothered about the dame thing just want it out and to stop it leaking .
So leaving the imput shaft in could be an option..
That is def the pto I have thanks very much for the pic, that def identifies
it's the right one. It also has a oil feed from the bottom of the
transfercase upto the pto.
So now we got this far.... Is this straight forward to change????

the plate should go,, but mine looks nothing like this plus mine has the drive flange facing the rear of the...
Either im going blind or i cant see where this cover plate is on the pto i can use
to blank off the hole left by the PTO..???

Well my truck is a M35a1 if any help?? it may of had a winch at some point but not now..

Hi people I'm looking to remove the PTO on my
M35 as it's leaking and it's not connected to nothing
so might as well come off.
Question is. Is this a easy job or is there much involved
plus is there a blanking plate to replace this???
