I installed all new glow plugs, air filter, replaced left headlight bezel, right side headlight bulb and cleaned up all of the ground straps that I found while working. I did coat all connections with Di-electric grease also. I was happy to find out that my fuel gauge now works properly.

I would just rebuild the one you have and save the extra cash. I just rebuilt one of mine last weekend and it only took about 45 minutes. I'm sure that next time around it would only take 30 minutes. I got the parts form ASP and they shipped them the same day as ordered.
I rebuilt the passenger side Alternator and it was a complete success. I replaced all three belts while I was at it. I also added a steering wheel lock chain with a hyd hose Kevlar cover (so I don't chew up the wheel and seat). My next thing is to figure out why the fuel gage reads whatever it...
