Our first trip up for the first convoy, both Danielle and I drove up the m1009 and m818, respectively.
430 ish miles each way was a lot of driving, a lot of fuel, and a bit of fun.
Now, it's about 13 miles each way, MUCH BETTER!
A week late, but I just picked up another M1009.
It wouldn't have fit in though, the local PD had painted it WHITE of all things...
Could have had the total count one higher!
As for the route, I tried to make it as interesting as possible without having to travel as far as we have in the past...
Comms is something we have failed at every year so far. The little civy radios didn't work last year. And I didn't even bother this year (sorry Aaron .... :( )
As for the Tires, you were a real source of humor for this year!
A LOT of good fun was had this weekend!

You are getting very good at setting this up and pulling it off. It is hard enough to plan something like this, and still be able to handle the random attendees.

Turn signals completely gave up the ghost on my m818. And I don't seem to be home enough to trouble shoot them!

Ray, I have a 12' slave cable, and I usually have to fight to make it worth. Great to use for powering tools/pumps/etc from the slave port, but a PITA at times for slave starting vehicles.
I would guess a 25' or so slave cable would meet most of my needs. I could always make an adapter to link a...
