Message from Varyag's wife:
Thanks Aaron and Amber for hosting this again. We had a great time. Our 800+ mile convoy was quite an adventure and our son can't wait to do it again despite tempuratures of about 103 F on HWY 24 on our drive home. I added some photos that I took starting in...
Wheeeeeeeeee
I had a great time, it was quite an adventure for us. We put about 800 miles on the 1009 and the deuce.
Special thanks to Scott for being the butt of our jokes Saturday night. He was a dern good sport about us giving him ****.
That was a good time. Totally worth it.
Sorry...
Thanks man. My pump sys is kinda fubar'd atm. My 105 went wild on the way to Tony's place and chucked everything around in it. Lucky I have my barrel racheted down really well. It was pulling the back of the deuce back and forth... I grabbed my seat without my hands on that one.
The HW was...
Deuce loaded, new breaks on the 1009, checked my bearings again tonight and the wife grabbed a heat gun. East side convoy PT1 to start in a couple hours.
Ohh yeah, Scott, bring your WO pump. My setup is a pile of crap atm.
Looks like my wife will not be driving the CUCV. Too hot for the little guy. Crystal is pretty disappointed about that.
Looks like me and Tony making the 2 man convoy again from the east.
Hey guys. I am getting all my crap together to go. Anyone interested in a new 14" mich on a 5 ton split rim? I am planning on stuffing it into the 105.
I don't want to have to try and pack that thing unless I absolutely have to.
