It's a double lip seal in the booster pump. The o rings are under the hydraulic head and around the fuel control rod.

Actually in my case it turned out my ip needed rebuilt anyway. Governor weight broke off. As far as what's faster. Swapping injector pumps is probably faster if you had one on hand or a local rebuilder. Is it cheaper? Absolutely not!

Looks like I may be doing this to my truck very soon. Its almost tempting to just stick a whole new IP on and call it a day.
