16.00 are great for stability and ride smooth. They are much better than the 11.00's when I made the swap on my A0. I swapped 14's to 16's on my A2 and same result, more stable and ride smooth. I tow big with my A2 and no complaints or issues.
I have 14.00's on my 817 dump and hate them...
Just don't let it start hopping and you'll be fine. Wheel hop will kill your drivetrain quicker than anything. Other than that, you should be fine. I've put mine to some serious punishment.
Airing down the tires will help you get traction and avoid wheel hop. Air them down to the point where...
You my friend, are hard core. I did 60 miles round trip in my M817 dump with 8 tons of rock (only one way) and an 18k excavator on the trailer and was spent! Between the noise and constant shifting attempting to maintain any sort of reasonable speed on the hills, I couldn't wait to get out of...
I've had a few NHC250's that Red River butchered but never had any issues with the 8.3. They only seems to mess with the top end from my experience. If anything more then that is needed they seem to replace the engine. That leads to plenty of other issues like not tightening flywheel...
Don't you know the tires are only rated for... eh never mind, be safe and have fun! My A2 cruises nicely at 70 with 53's! Now the 817 dump is another story, she is a 50mph rig at max speed. Quite the work horse though.

Best way is to get about 10-15% on the hitch. Any more than that stresses the components and reduces your steering ability on wet or loose surfaces. Hard to get a feel for that unless your using the same equipment every time though.

Looks a little toung heavy. I usually load mine opposite with the boom forward when using a short equipment trailer like that.

The dump bed looks great, I've been on the fence for a while. I really like the idea of the dump bed but are the sides strong enough to handle much use? The drop side beds seem flimsy when the tail gate is down and unlatched.
