FYI... the cost for a good TCI manual valve body for the 4L80 and the cost of a controller, is roughly the same... Cost.. comes down to the "extras", vs " loss of auto shifting..." I recommend doing the research in decipering which would work best for you, and your application... Nice...

While your under there turning wrenches, i would also change out the motor mounts, if your trans mount was "mush", that could be the reason for the cracked housing....
