Although the 300's really are great engines, I just can't go with a 4-letter engine. It goes against all that is good and just in the world!;):)

Oh OK. That's good to know. The M715 came with an extra set of axles, so I figured I'd be good there. There's even a set of reverse rims with the M715 centers welded in. The look homemade, but look to be fairly well done.

Thanks for the advice, tips, and comments everyone. Engines are not a problem for me, as I have a 292, several SBC or BBC Chevys, a few 6.2's and the 5.9 Cummins and the 5 speed. I even have a 305E and 351E GMC V6's if I really wanted outside the box. Maybe I'm missing something, but why would...

I bought my first M715 today, and I can't wait to get it home and get started on it. It is a VERY straight and solid truck, has no rust through that I can find. It runs, but has a blown head gasket (or worse) and has no compression on the last 2 cylinders. I am going to try to fix the Tornado...
