GI tents have a support rod at the bottom of the side struts to secure the bottom of the tent walls, also used to connect the floor to the walls. A strong wind is going to make a mess with the tent on there. Good Luck!
Anf if you plan on leaving the tent up any length of time (months), it's best to support the roof part with 1 x 6's about 9 or 10 feet long between the ribs (underneath the roof part), lashed down so they don't move. Usually only takes one per section, about a third of the way up from the...
