Yikes...... sounds like a tube is the answer then.

Same thing happened when they mounted my new tires. They left them out in the warm sun with a tube inside (not mounted) and they came back into shape so they would seal. They have been holding air fine since mounted and tubeless.

Yup, the Goat tires are tubeless.....that's how I run mine, I know some guys run tubes tho. bet they will chime in on here eventually. (Maybe the tubes help them float better)?

Good luck, when I talked to Coker last they still didn't have enough minimum numbers to put in an order to their maker in Vietnam to make them.

Mounted and on the road already, one road trip nd a parade with new treads....working and looking fine.

I got the "new" tires in and they look great. You can tell on a couple of them where there are some tool marks where the new tread cap meets the sidewall, but it sure doesn't look bad. Otherwise they look like brand new tires, no cracking or age on the sidewalls. Now I need to find someone to...

Will do, they are supposed to be here by Friday when I'm working. Should get a good look at them Saturday. I had the rims I'm going to mount them on sand blasted and primered up yesterday so I'm ready to go.

I plan on working outside in the "green truck garage" tomorrow with warmer temps, I'll give mine the hard look and see what I think I might really need instead of just want. I have 6 on the ground under the Goat (one is flat), 6 more mounted and parked inside (one is shredded from last years...

Hmmmm I'm open to suggestions and saving money.......anyone wanna share their ideas??? $200 is a bunch better than $500 each, but not if they don't last....their site does list them as 6 ply also.

Good copy........it changed my plans for the next 2 weeks while the Mother-in-law visits since I don't have the new tire excuse to get me out in the shop.

The Summit site lists these as a Coker Tire......wouldn't they also have to wait for them to be made, shipped to the states, picked up by Coker, then sent to Summit? I like the no shipping part! Asking for a friend........

I called Smith and Edwards and they said they haven't had any Gama Goat tires in years and years. I just called Corker Tire.......they have none of the 1100 x 18 DUKW tires in stock anywhere. They order their tires from a manufacture that makes them for them using the molds that Corker owns...

I'm supposed to work tomorrow but we have a big storm hitting tonight, if I get off work tomorrow, I'll give them a call and put the squeeze on them.

Now it pops up they will back-order 6......guess we are standing by to stand by.

I just hit the order now button and they have a message that they have 2 and will back order the other 4.

Good to go, those would be the same ones I'm wanting to order then......but they say they are on back order, not in stock? I'm also going to have some "used" ones to get rid of.

I'm ready to order 6 new ones myself.....are yours the legit Goat tires that are tubeless or DUKW' tires that need tubes?
