Yes. Depending on weather. But full cure is usually 30 days. I have had great success on the 8 vehicles I have painted. My first I did not cure long enough. 30 days and you can powerwash!

How long are you waiting for scratch? Takes 30 days!

Just use flotrol. Easy!

This is a short thread! Did someone say they painted their engine with Behr? If you did, what were the results?

Kilz works great between the different paint make ups. I have had good success. Home Depot can do a little tint on the Kilz. I have mine tinted black and it looks light grey. Better than white.

If its rattle cans, I have had no problem. I have used KILZ 2 in a spray can to cover areas if I was concerned. The BEHR has built in primer.

1 day should be enough. Use BEHR Ultra. It has a primer built in!

Satin was just as hard after cure time. My trucks sit outside. If I get 10 years I will just respray. The Behr Premium Ultra has a primer mixed in. It only takes two days for two coats after the prep is done.
