I wonder if you could build a platform from the Class V hitch I installed on the back of the truck to mount the the crane/hoist to during hunting season? It is either that or I need to make the davit swivel.

I went in cold, watched a couple different techniques on YouTube. It is knotted, took over 50', probably closer to 100'. Next I will do the spokes in a contrasting color. Kids want me to do the grab handle too...
Finally installed my switch kit. Pretty easy to install, 4 switches are on relays, 2 aren't, all are fed through a central control box with fuse panel and gang bar. Now to install boost and pyro gauges. Also finished installing newly covered seats.
In case it is close for others what I did is I took a piece of the rubber play mats you can buy for kids play areas and cut it down to fit. One mat fits perfectly on top of all 4 batteries and protects from the lid of the battery box.
