There is a metered orifice in all air compressors. Like I mentioned earlier if you drill it out you will flood the compressor with oil. If I remember right the hole should be 1/16" .
Check the bearing support. Some of these compressors used an external line to the bearing retainer (IHC comes to mind) .There should be a pipe plug there (1/8" NPT) .
There is a hole that goes up to the rear main bearing, then it has a drilled crankshaft that feeds the rods and other bearing. The oil does splash around from the rods to get on the cylinder walls. The oil then drains back from the bottom down to the engine oil pan. All compressors have this...
Considering where your pulling the power from (battery box) I would go with 2/0 welding cable. There is a outfit on eBay that sells it very reasonably .
Looks good, but your rubber bumper has nowhere to hit when the gate is down. Looks like it goes where your plate is. I guess you can just move them more to the outside.
Now that is a good look ! I agree the recessed gauges are much better. You need to build a prototype to find out how much it will cost to produce so I can buy one !!!
I also like that the bypass valve has an adjustable pressure range.
If you can make that for a decent price I'll buy one ! I had to use what was available, and I don't like all the fittings either. Just a potential leaking point. I also like all the fittings on the front side. No more messing around the firewall. You might want to mount the pressure gauges...
