ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

Great video, and nicely shot! I really like how you zoomed way in on what's important and sped up repetitive things that we don't need to see at real time! A lot of people that make tutorial videos don't understand the purpose of the video or how much should be in the scene of the camera. They...

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

    I can attest to that!

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

Yeah I can see an issue with it having highway gears and Eco hubs. I don't think it's ideal that the two be combined.

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

Yeah that happened to me like last week! 2008 tire and I was only doing about 15 miles an hour. Luckily all the rest of my tires are less than 10 years old

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

I was thinking a good way to mount something like a travel trailer without its Wheels as the habitat on the back of the frame, would be to hard mount the hitch area to the forward most section of the truck frame, and bolt the axles or the leaf springs, whatever the trailer has for suspension to...

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

It would be nice if there could be a comparison between a stock truck, the one with the 3.07 gears, and the hub spider gear delete. A variety of terrains and speeds and loads.

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

Too bad they didn't make it like a pinsgauer or MTVR. Lock and unlock any axle at any time at the push of a button or lever

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

I think that the only difference between the intermediate and rear axle lies in the differential components. I'm going to check the part numbers later but I think everything outside of the pumpkin is the same

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

It's all good it'll be exciting to hear what the results of the tests are!

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

You mean 3.4 not 3.9? Or is that common core math! ;)

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

That's actually what I was thinking of asking earlier today. Where the vehicle knows it speed from and apparently looks like it's the transmission. Because I believe various modes limit you based upon speed and tire pressure

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

And how much weight you've got loaded into it when you test those!

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

Would be interested to know the results of towing, up hills, and mpg now. How much would a set for an M1083 be? 100 miles over a mountain and into the desert, 45 miles off-roading in the badlands, and 100 miles back, I got 4.4 mpg, emptied the 54 gallon tank!
