What did you do to your deuce this week?

I could somewhat keep it removable when I build an enclosure that fits the space on passenger side which is the extended angle iron from the spare tire holder on driver side. It's 16" wide , which fits engine and generator, but not the tube frame. I'm thinking my 4 1/2" grinder with cut off...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Don't hit the brakes too hard.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Cousin gave me a small gas powered generator 5kw that he bought 20 years ago. He said it would not start or run without the choke on now and that he has ran it once....one time in 20 years....and cannot get it going now. I thought for sure it would be old gas that became varnish as the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Not so much never done as finishing one item being entirely overshadowed by 5 new.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Slate, here is the bag mount on top of the spring. It worked well with the square U bolts. Second photo is gooseneck ball, in frame, mount.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I got the 1" nylon tig sleeve and am stringing (4) 20 ga so cords to each side rear LED light. I had a roll of foundry duty small SO cord, so I'm using it. That is three lights plus a spare line on each side. There are 3 wires in each so cord for the high and low power of each LED 2057 +...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

We used to wrap that with a flat thread like material or leather straps to tighten it up. Is it leather or vinyl? As much as I like leather, it molds with sweat.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I don't know why there is no "thanks" available, but if there ever is a post that deserves it, it's yours, SCM35A2. I'm so blessed that my dad has income and is mobile (94). I hope you do well on the sale.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Emeralcove, yours looks worth repairing. I'll need about 8 sticks. My truck is a 97....with a 1957 (looks like) steering wheel that set in the sun. I have many areas of just the outer wire its molded to. I have a bunch of hardwood veneer that might make an interesting layup. I'll find...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I hope that is something you want to do. Nice looking truck.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

LOL Emeralcove....my 97 A3 steering wheel looks like it's from a 47. I guess epoxy and paint and a lot of patience... they can be made whole. Edit...Hi Tom....how many times do you find yourself with a torch in one hand and a stinger in the other? I used to have a 20,000 shop and when it...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

It always feels good to get a job done. My completions are always overshadowed by the 3 projects that replace it. Is that your welder truck? It's nicely organized. I'm using an M1101 as my welder/torch vehicle. It gets a roof. I'm working on the 4x4 A3 and trying to decide what tools...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

With only about 2' of chain under the truck boom, it's surprising how far it can go forward when motivated on a slight hill. Did it poke through or dent it up? Did you hit the brakes a bit too hard?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I didn't say he had to pay the fee to place the wanted ad, just that paying a membership supports the site (well maybe I implied it a bit). Totally free makes us look cheap...which many of us are and have accepted that fate. Oh well....

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Which rear driveshaft are you referring to, the one from the transfer case to the first axle or the one between the two axles? They are different size I think. What is the "plug" you are referring to? You should probably put this in a "parts wanted" ad. If you have not paid the members...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yep....looks like two traffic lights. If I'm seen on the roads (being one of the slowest vehicles), it will be worth it to avoid being rear ended. I have not seen a green lens yet. Every light there (and new ones on the front) will have a 3 wire SO cord going to it from the (added) control...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

It's nice to come out and not see it sitting on flats. Hard to believe someone was critical since they are not the $900 each (new date codes) ones. Glad Rodney's guys took care of you. Have you considered flipping to dish out on the rear?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

The problem with bondo is that it has no strength on it's own. It's good with fiberglass to make the contours but you have to get some strength over the holes. Glass cloth is readily available but so is canvas for a base that will adhere to the surrounding (rust treated/primed) metal...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

JB Weld or epoxy and some strips of canvas (or glass cloth) might work.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Some fellas get a bit upset when you do that.
