This is driving me crazy trying to find the correct fitting size for the ip inlet.

I picked up a diesel pump and I know I need to get some reducers and adapters to make it work inline with it.

Specs of the pump I got:

24 Volts
DIESEL
Negative Ground
1/4-18 NPSF fittings
10 to 14 PSI
35 GPH at free flow

So I need to go from 1/4-18 male to ip size female and ip size male to 1/4-18 male

I'm loosing prime, and I am going to redo the seals in the selector switch, and new lines eventually.

I want the pump for the cold winter days when the fuel is a little thicker, and when I do fuel filter services and need to bleed the system, or long idle times.

Here's the 90° inlet fitting specs. I know for sure the connection from the filter is a 1/2" male inverted flare.

Is the pump you're putting on one of those inline types...?

I use a similar type to transfer from my right tank to the left and it works just fine. My concern with your install is the inlet size tubing is all 1/2" from the tank to the IP on the NHC250 engines. You're probably going to end up starving the engine of fuel with the smaller 1/4" pass through with that pump.

That's the pump. Do you know the flow rate and psi going into the ip?

Got the info. The flare fitting coming off the elbow on the filter to the ip is 5/8 flare.

Ended up going 5/8 flare to 1/4 mip for my project. Just have to get 4 more 1/2" couplers and as soon as the other pump gets in and I get another hose I'll be all set. I'm also going to add two more 1/2" street elbows to the 5/8 fip to 1/2 mip to keep the fuel line off the surface of where it gets mounted.

The 4 small double males were bought in mistake, those should be the double females I need to get now.
