Ive got the original CDN hard top.

For cab heat its just got a 'bus heater' under the passenger side seat, unfortunately it doesnt work too well in the extreme cold (enough to make it 'cool' in the cab, but never able to thaw the windows).

I had a spare webasto air heater kicking around, so ive installed that, now itll roast you out of the cab at -40c LOL

Judging by the little rectangular pan mounted in pucture 8, I'm gonna say ex-fire truck? That was a mount for a 6 volt flashlight in the early 70s. The ears were where the hold down spring was anchored.

Your right, it was a brush trck for 15 years w/. a local dept. Before that it belonged to a National Guard Unit her in N.M. Ive had it twenty years. The cab is very well made, even the roof was stamped slightly raised w/ strengh creases crisscrossing it in a diamond pattern.
