What are you guys/girls getting on fuel economy?

My old 1009 was about at 18 mpg in town and 20 on highway @ 65-75 mph.

The newer 1008 I have which is stock except for a NA 6.5 motor gets 9 MPG Highway at 60 mph.

My M1028A1 gets 17 at 45 to 50MPH. It is basicly stock. Except for a Mid 90's single plane intake and aif filter.

For some reason I think it will begin to get deep in here real soon!

I get 16 consistantly out of my M1031 but it does have a GV overdrive in it.

My M1028 gets between 11 and 15 MPG, depending on how its loaded and driving habits.

I am getting around 20 cruising around 54-56 mph. If I go much above 65 it goes into the toilet.

I average 23mpg at 60mph on the highway. I have 33's on my 1009 though.

With no exaggeration, my M1031 get's 20+@ 55-60 but thats with a 700r4-banks turbo and 285s wich are adout 32 1/2 in high. The maint box was replaced, sheding approx 600lbs, with a flatbed by the PO along with the trans/turbo. I tend to over lubricate the fuel, 2qts 20/50+8oz of fuel treatment per 20gal. At that ratio, it does smoke a little, about 10sec on a cold startup but it quiet's down the fuel knock considerably. Runs clean even when booting the throttle. Better fuel milage than my 2000 S15 GMC jimmy, 4.3 auto-cold intake-cat back exhast. WP

Stocko / Rocko, I get 18 on the highway @ 57 miles and hour, at 4000 ft,and 16 oz's of two cycle oil for 20 gallons of fuel. purr's like a kitten.!!! OH, 86 M1028

Last check of the 09 was 20.5mpg with 16oz of two-cycle oil per 20 gal.

I do the bottle of two-cycle oil also with each fill up. I am not sure if it effects everything but I figure it can't hurt.

The 2 cycle oil is to help with lack of lubrication of the ulsd I suppose?

M1008 34" ltb swampers I get 17 on the hwy and driving back and forth to work around 11-13.
