M923a1--can i use 10-30 oil in trans

I wouldn't put hy-tran in the tranny. But it's not mine. I use Dexron 3.

Does your CCC use a CAT trans? How are they compared to a allison?

The thread was for an M923 tranny. JTS, I have one M916 that has the 7155 CAT. It's okay I guess. When I get to it it will be changed over like all my other ones to an 18 speed.
Compared to the Allison....you have to shift it just like a standard, only you don't have clutch.
