    It's alive!!!

TNDRIVER is correct but left out the most important step. Jack the vehicle up so that it is at least 15 degrees elevated front over back. Then start the vehicle and turn the front wheels right locked to left and then left to right lock, 20 times. Then put the vehicle down and let it sit for two...

You can easily straighten those with a little time and TLC, if the inner cables are not frozen.

    Log of my 1995 Hummer

1995 with lots of upgrades. I get her back from Tor Sunday. Then I can start work on her. Drivers’ heated window replaced. I’ll try to seal some of the old one’s front sided cracks. Rear brake calipers replaced. All pads replaced. A/C vacuum hose that was fu<ked up by HummerWhore was...

First time Humvee owner, lifetime admirer w/ a Q...

Off topic. It caused the fan to hit the radiator. My question stands… is there a new revised TM regarding fording water in the REV B and C vehicles with mechanical geared fan. Take care and be well Steve. Charles

    Transmission control module questions

Super easy. Trust in the force Luke. The TM a goes over tranny function and troubleshooting in painfully detailed descriptions with pictures and arrows. Initially seems daunting. It isn’t. Just simple grunt work with a few protocols to follow. You will be OK.

Steve, good to hear from you. A friend of mine just took his rig into the ocean and ripped up his radiator. Just sayin’. I wonder if something in the design must have been changed to allow fording in the REV B and C units. What is in the revised TM?

Unless you can turn off your fan, water fording is a bad idea. The fan will act like a screw propeller and pull itself into the radiator.

    6.5 Tick When Warm 1151A1 2007

See if it clears with higher viscosity oil. OR, wash out engine with tranny fluid mix vs commercial oil cleaner and then replace with Rotella 15-40.

What to do with old Armasafe batteries?

Please share. Eric Hummer H1 has a pair and I’d like to help him restore them.

How to bypass PCB? I am aware some HMMWV owners have done it. TOBASH

Dash light becomes an indicator that you pressed the glow plug button and is no longer a wait light. My added LED will light when at least one glow plug is active. I no longer build or sell the units with that added LED.

Has anyone gutted a N3135 regulator?

So peapvp/Peter, I guess I got lucky with a unit that might be more easily dissected. Seems like there might be differing batches with differing construction. Glad mine isn’t epoxy. Thanks for your pictures and your information. Charles

Has anyone gutted a N3135 regulator?

Mog.., I respectfully disagree. Silicone is anti vibration. Silicone with rocks and powder is another story. GM, Ford, and Chrysler regulator products don’t have an ounce of silicone and yet they work well, even on bumps. Same with Bosch. No silicone in G500 Mercedes and no silicone in GM...
