I need to tow a M1009 for 160 miles.. How do I do this? UHAUL, Penske, Budget, etc trailers can only tow 4000 lbs - making me 1200 lbs over. Does anyone have experience towing these guys? I have an '02 Blazer with the level 3 (5000+ lbs) towing package. Or is there a rental flatbed truck (for cheap) that I can rent?

Any direction is helpful.

Thanks

I towed a m1009 from Texas to Michigan using a Mastertow tow dolly rated at 5,500lbs. It worked fine and I made it back in one piece. The tires had about one inch of clearance on each side. I know the truck weighs more than that but the front end that sets on the trailer does not. at least thats how I figured it. [thumbzup]
