I now have two sets of NOS seats, but just the part you sit on. Still looking for the backs/upright sections. Would still be interested in complete seats, or possibly trade a set of seats for a set of backs.
First thought is shift cable adjustment. Second, make sure button on transfer-case shifter is not stuck in, but don’t think no reverse is typical issue with that… everything getting fuzzy with old age.
They are wagons with a tongue thats too short. Backing a truck on towbar is “easy” comparatively. Backing a wagon with a farm tractor is an art, (back in the day my dad made it look easy) backing one attached to the rear of a big truck is near impossible. Same as 98G mentioned, I can back a...
I was a tad heavier at 11 ton, at 60psi. Tread came apart in 2 big slabs and several small chunks. I drove a little over 1/2 mile down the road to get to a safe place to get off the hwy, maybe why the carcass looks so bad. Also, I was in the middle of changing the tire is why the two axle bolts...
Looks like G’s numbers are correct. Mine has 3912487 stamped in the bottom of it. Ebay has one listed for $64, but is either the wrong picture or part number. I make a lot of stuff but wouldn’t attempt this for less than the $145 G posted.

You would need...
Is yours the little 4x5” panel? In my opinion thats one mistake the military made was mounting them on the cowl. Unless they always park their trucks facing south?
As small as these panels are, you could probably just throw an adjustable voltage boost converter on it, and not even worry about a charge controller. Somebody can probably tell us how many watts they are just by going off the panel size?
Also have a 3/8”x8’ two leg Crosby for $50 if that works better for you?
I also have a bunch of different size and lengths of raw lifting chain some like new, some used. If anyone is looking for a particular size let me know I will dig around. Thinking somewhere around 25% of new cost, whatever...
