Well its under way....the herk came out to make room for a 190 hp cummins cranked up to almost 300. if any one has any input it would be greatly apreciated. i had to lift the cab 3 inches (the box was already lifted 3 to clear the 16.00 20's) and the winch will be droped 3 1/2 more to bring the drive shaft down. all of this to cram the biggest possible radiator and air to air aftercooler. the bell housing bolts right up but i need to make up a fly wheel and ringgear.
what do you guys think?
Is my herk worth anything, LDT with the nonwistler?
how bout the stearing gear box (power stearing now<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_jumpin.gif" alt="Jumpin">)?

oh, no there might be a few clearance isues. Im using a B-5.9 190hp stock with 375HP marine injetors and a worked over HX-35 turbo. should be close to 300HP and 600+ Ft.Lb. it was a relatively easy swap the flywheel was hard to find because i had an automatic bell (SAE#3) and all you can get is a 12 inch clutch for a #3 industrial bell buti did find a halfbreed that works. had to make motormounts as well but thats fairly strait forward. radiator is a big issue with tha aftercooler but after a 3 inch body lift and droping the winch 3 inches in the frame im in bussiness next will be hackin the sheetmetal to fit. power steering is next on the list, i reckon the drag link will be the only hard part there
