Not much heating because I have a jar of it next to my chair at home to rub on my cat's back for a wound. It melts at skin temp.

It's excellent for any skin wound, rash, insect bite, eczema, and even burns. Nothing better for burns. It's amazing stuff.

Yes, I know, you aren't supposed to put oil on burns. Yada yada.

Coconut oil is good for burns. Actually, it's amazing on burns.


Now back to your regularly scheduled non-serious stuff.

Doghead , believe it or not but WHALE OIL was used as a additive in GM "LIMITED SLIP" gear oil additive in 50's-60's , until THAT became a BAD WORD . LOL
Interesting. When I was at the Mercedes dealer, we called the MB Limited Slip Gear Oil "Whale Sperm". Now I guess I know why. That stuff would stink up the whole shop.

I've heard people call never seize a few things I cannot mention here on the site. Could it really contain those bodily fluids too?
