I started my M1008 yesterday morning and everything was fine, nothing out of the usual. The truck was covered in 1/2" of ice so I turned on the defroster on high and let it idle for a while to warm up.
after about 15minutes I went out to check on the truck and get the ice off the windshield...
I have a M1008 with a CB that has a 4' whip antanna. I stumbled across a SWR gauge that hooks up in-line on the antana coax.
My CB has a SWR knob on it as well. What should the correct reading be for this type of setup?
My M1008 has a 6" lift with 37" hummer tires and wheels. I am wanting to put a reciever hitch on the truck and would like to know how big of a drop hitch others are using with this combo??
Just picked up a 1984 M1008?? CUCV. Trying to figure out how to make this thing start easier.
Anyway, I hope to read a lot and learn as much as I can on this site.
