    I don't know the depth, but you can add a depth gauge/stop to your drill bit to help from over penetrating.

    Considering keeping the 6.2 w/the cucv frame (going to have M715 body) and running 395's or bigger on 2.5t rocks. anyone running something similar? opinons on drive-ablilty etc? does the 6.2 have enough umph w/the gearing to turn big tires? Thanks for the advice

    They are powdercoated medium grey/silver aluminum wheels and are approx 1" thick in the middle!! think they weigh about 50-55lbs each They still pop up on ebay as new sets every now and again, usually $800/4 which honestly isn't a bad deal for aluminum hutchinson beadlocks that are .mil tough...
