I haven't found any but I have made my own from regular strings. You take the available voltage and divide by the bulb voltage. If you have 24 volts and bulbs are 2.5 volts you need 9.6 bulbs per string wired in series. I have found it is best to round down and use 9, if you round up use 10 they...
Do you have a model and year range on that van? Is that a metal tank or plastic? I'm thinking of changing to a plastic tank and have been looking for a civilian equivilant.
Thanks
Sorry I don't know the exact year I do know it was somewhere in the 80's I crawled around under everything that...
I used a tank out of an 80's chevy van on one truck. You will have to use longer bolts on the straps but the vent and filler holes are the same size and location. Lately we have been cutting them open and sand blasting them and welding them back together then use sealer on the inside but if it...
One thing not discussed earlier is the flathead 6 won't last long at constant speeds over 45ish. I have a R-2 and I read they are about 1000 lbs lighter than a M37 and mine will easily exceed 50 and especally if you are used to a M37 it is easy to over speed the engine. You may already know this...
Kenny sorry it has taken a while to get back here and reply, trying to get ready to go to Florida to the power wagon rally. I'll see if I can't get you one and a drawing soon.
Kenny I think it's 8 but I'm not sure. I took the measurements off of the old hose end,I have them at work.Rizzo one of my tubes was replaced with a hose before I got the truck the rest were replaced by cutting the old hose end off and welding them to something else that was crimped on a new...
We got a new CNC lathe in the shop at work and I kept punchin' buttons until it spit this out. Now I can use a hose with a 1" male pipe thread on both ends.
I have 2 and think alot of them. They are fairly eaisy to service. A 38' tire will usually fit without a lift unless the front springs are tired.Rear axle shafts have been known to break when stressed too much but I haven't had this happen yet.Max speed needs to be kept below 45 with the stock...
Thanks Mike,my wife tends to disagree.I think she's getting used to it though where it's parked now you can see it from the kitchen window and she hasn't complained.
Thanks for the replies .I found an article in Military Vehicles Magazine where M-Series Rebuild restored one but only one shot from the rear.I would like to see some pics of the PTO drive line, winch mounts and cable guide set up if any one has any. I would like to get the parts for this...
Some 727's used in 1 ton trucks from the 70's had a fixed yoke that was shorter also.I had a 72 2 wheel drive made like that. What SAE bellhousing #'s will work?
Kenny,I traded on a winch out of a 5 ton bridge truck and was thinking about trying to use it and make it look as original as possible.Any info would be very helpful.
I would like to add a winch to the rear of my M108 like the M60. I have the TM for the M108 and it dosen't show it . Is there a TM for the M60? Iwas also wondering if anyone has pictures of this setup?
