    Brake conundrum

Well I've almost got this thing beat. With work, weather, and the holidays, I haven't had much time to tackle the problem. To recap the progress so far; I found the booster leaking and a spongy pedal. Changed booster, still spongy pedal, found mc leaking. Changed mc, used a n mc for a 86 chevy...

    Brake conundrum

Changing the booster was my first step. I would have to think the new remaned booster is fine since my steering is fine.

    M101A2 vs M101A3

Right after posting this thread, I found my answers on this site. Sorry guys. But to answer my own question, The A2 and A3 box is the same width. The A3 fenders were each moved outward 5". The inner fender spacing on the A2 is 45" and the A3 spacing is 55". Many A2s were converted to A3s by just...

    M101A2 vs M101A3

Sorry if this is a repeat question. I'm looking at buying a M101A2 or M101A3 trailer. They're both listed as having the same width, but I notice that the A3's fenders stick out further than the A2. Now, do the fenders stick out farther, or is the cargo body narrower?

    Diy rock sliders

The plates are there because regular flat washers were digging into the rhino liner, just happened to have a little diamond plate left over. As far as the grill guard goes, it is the stock guard but I cut the ends and re welded them to match the angle of the deuce and a half bumper. Some bar...

    Diy rock sliders

It took a couple months to fab up that bumper, it weights about 150lbs., cost of shipping and materials would be crazy, plus a lot of frame modification has to be made to accept the bumper. Doubt I'll be matching the back, I like the stock step bumper for now.

    Diy rock sliders

Thanks a lot for the compliments. I call it my Chicago Rush Hour Bumper. After reading about your Evolution saw, I have been seriously considering getting one. I'm always looking for better ways of cutting steel. I was thinking about putting the Evolution Rage 2 carbide tooth blade on my chop...

    Diy rock sliders

Really like the sliders! I planned on building mine like they did in that article, but after seeing yours I'll definately be basing mine of of your design. Just ordered my materials for it yesterday. Using 3/16" thick tubing instead of the 1/8" though. I already had some. As far as bumper...

    No start frustrations.

When the cover is removed, the fuel c/o is taken out of play. The loose ground was on the block, the starter was robbing voltage from everything else including the fuel cut out switch. Not sure if I explained that very well.

    Gear vendor vs. 700r4

Now that my truck is finally up and running again, it's time for a 700r4 swap or a Gear Vendors for the TH400 on my 1008. Costs aside which setup would be better for all around abuse on the high way and off road. I am either going with a Monster transmissions 700r4 or a Gear Vendors for my...

    No start frustrations.

I was getting12 volts at the fuel c/o when I turned the key to on. What I didn't realize was the voltage was dropping while turning the key. Found the block ground cable was loose. Got an all new fuel system out of this at least. Thanks for the help everyone.
