Getagun; Replacing the valve in front of the transfer case (post 56) resolved the airing up problem. Then flipping the piston fixed the air leaking into the stack after I flipped the dash switch.

That's the problem plumber, every time i get it fixed i can drive it for maybe a month before something else catastrophic goes wrong and it sits for another 3-4 months!
